House Bills stuck in Senate

Life Church for one has used schools several times to open new churches. Rejoice in Owasso also has a K-12 school.

I'm curious though, in the SDA it defines school property as:
"School property" means any publicly owned property held for purposes of elementary, secondary or
vocational technical edu
cation, and shall not include property owned by public school districts or where
such property is leased or rented to an individual or corporation and used for purposes other than
educational..."

If the church is paying to use the property, would it fall under this?

Not a lawyer, and never have a reason to go on school property. Just curious for the sake of curiosity.

HB 2617 passed out of committee this morning

Have we heard any word as to whether HB2329 has any hope of making it during this years session?

Good news. HJR1026 passed rules committee also. Looks like the calls and emails are making a difference. Keep the pressure on and hope 2329 gets a vote as well
