This was my first thought too.
Probably correlates with religion and politics. We're the buckle of the bible belt. Strong core beliefs. Conservative in values. Leads to less confusion of who we are and where we're headed. We operate with realistic goals in mind. Less experimentation and misunderstanding of how life works saves us from self-doubt and inhibiting feelings of not knowing our purpose. Definitively this excludes the alphabet crowd because of their incapabilities of performing actual intercourse and only able to perform sexual like acts, which inevitably leaves those participants feeling incomplete, incapable and frustrated (generally dissatisfied). Red state winner in this category. Blue states generally represent turmoil and dissatisfaction across most subject matters. The best sex comes from when we love each other and are committed in a relationship that has shared goals beyond self-gratification, not just wanting a feeling.
