How bad is this stuff hurting the gun ranges?

I have been by 2A in Tulsa a few times over the last few weeks and they have been busy every time. Busy enough to have a pretty decent wait time to get a lane.

We went to H&H the other day and it was about a 30 minute wait. The range people said they've been swamped and H&H actually had to ad a person to put people on the waiting list and hand out the little pagers to let you know when your lane is available. So I'd say they aren't suffering at all, quite the opposite, it's been a business boom for them.

You would think that with ammo being both scarce and expensive not very many people would be willing to shoot it up but it seems either they aren't worried about the ammo situation or they are getting out and familiarizing themselves with their firearms just in case they have to use them.

During my last couple visits to the range I looked thru the trash can to see what people were shooting.
Probably the majority of boxes I saw had price stickers from the 80's and 90's
So I guess they are still burning up their 1994 stash. Or been lucky at garage sales.

There are a great number of occasional shooters that haven't had to buy any ammo in years and have no clue about the current situation. they will worry about it when the shoot up their last bullet.

Most folks that shoot competition matches, have lots of stock in reloading supplies.
What this hurts is the new folks wanting to start shooting on a regular basis, can't buy ammo or supplies because the hoarders that don't have a problem screwing the rest of the shooting community for their selfish needs.

People that bought guns for their children at Christmas are suffering as well, because the stupid hoarders have depleted the supply.

It hasn't had any effect on my shooting, but I have sympathy with the others that can't enjoy our sport because of a certain group.

This is so "WTF" that i don't know where to start.

So i'm a "stupid selfish hoarder" because i planned ahead and others didn't.
But the competition shooters that have lots of stock and supplies are not a problem?
Are you drunk or do you just need a pad change?
Maybe your just socialist and you want to take from those that have and give to those that don't.

I'd suspect at least some of the folks at the range may be new owners.
Bought a gun and a couple boxes of range ammo and a box of personal defense ammo for Christmas.
They shoot up the range ammo becoming familar with thier new gun.
Go home and clean it and maybe not shoot it again for months.
