Not much WWII stuff.....a small Japanese flag and lots of stories from the "Pacific Theatre". One story: My Grandfather's name is Abe/Abraham.

He was living in Los Angles at the time, and joined the Navy. Why the Navy and not the Marines, like sooooo many of my family did and still does!!??

He thought with his name-Abraham, if he was sent to Europe, AND if he was captured by the Germans.....well they might think he was Jewish with a name like Abe. So he joined the navy and went to the Pacific.

I have an Enfield, an Inland carbine and an H&R Garand (not really WW-II era, but definitely WW-II type). I never used to be into them, but have grown more interested over the years.

Let's see.......?
Couple mosins. Cheap enough everyone should have a couple.
7.7mm Ariska (Jap)
8mm Mauser.
7.5 Frenchie.
8 x 56R Hungarian (Mann. Stey.)
303 Enfield
Got a real appetite for a Schmidt Rubin......

All great little toys to play with. A handloader dream. Most people never mess with them enough to see how well these old war dogs will shoot.

I don't have one yet but I'm trying really hard to get into a an Enfield right now and my brother-in-law has an Arisaka that I hope to talk him out of someday. He wants to hang it on a wall and not shoot it - can you believe that?

Guns are for shootin man!
