I have about 700 rounds of .22, 300 rounds of 9mm, 200 rounds of .223 (which I do not have a gun for), And several boxes of shotgun shells. So how much ammo is enough?

How many stripped lowers are enough to have? (Which I sold right before the price explosion)

I forgot to ask about mags.

You can never have enough ammo. And if your only weapons are .22lr, 9mm and 12ga, then you are toast when the SHTF.

There is nothing wrong with his selection of weapon calibers. With just those three calibers I could ruin the plans for your picnic. He does need more bullets in the basket though.

I disagree also. Nothing wrong with this. Have some slugs for the 12 gauge and it will be just fine.

Only thing he ought to add, IMHO, is a decent rifle. A .30 caliber carbine or Mini-14 would be a cost effective choice. Even a lever action 30-30, or a pump or semi auto hunting rifle would fill in the gap.

In the tens of thousands for AR, 5-6k pistols, less than 1k for the benchrest/f-class guns, enough powder/primers/bullets to reload twice, and 6 10k cases of .22lr... All bought days after Aurora when the lefties were still declaring POTUS a 2A friend and calling me paranoid...

Seeing prices, I almost thought about busting open a case of pmags to pay for it all... But that would be against my prepper nature
