It’s almost that time again. With the weather like it’s been, I’m thinking about putting the feeder out a couple weeks early to attract the new comers.

Love ours out in the country. We have two feeders and they are fast to go back and forth to each one, almost as if they're racing. We mix 1 cup sugar to 4 cups water.

Give the feeders a good cleaning before filling.

I went as far as buying vitamins to add to sugar water. Very cheap on Amazon.

Considerably earlier than usual. I generally don't see them until
April.

Has anyone seen any yet?
Looking at my records stretching back over more than twenty years, the earliest I've seen a bird has been the 5th of Apr. I'm SE of Guthrie .

Still watching for the first arrival here in SE OKC. Hung a feeder about a week ago. This year I added some nesting material near the feeder. Combed the undercoat out of a couple of goats and stuffed in a wire basket attached to the tree.

Was wondering the same thing a couple days ago and went out and checked my feeder. Still full and I haven’t seen any.
