I'm sorry for the unimaginable pain this person has caused you and your family.
Though it is no consolation and only a small measure of comfort, I pray that you may find some measure of peace in knowing your family members are in a better place now. Amen.

Im so sorry to hear that your family has been going through this tragedy. I hope you all get some kind of peace knowing that piece of **** is going to die. Too bad they don't let families do the executions because a lethal injection, electric chair, gas chamber are all far to humane. Murderers should have to die in fear and panic and pain just like their victims.

Why is this bastard still breathing? He shoulda been juiced a helluva long time ago. After 23 years of enforcing the laws in Oklahoma, I am now convinced that the justice system is seriously flawed. I think that when a person is convicted and given a death sentence, that sentence should be carried out within a week. That gives the scumbag plenty of time to right some of his wrongs, if he chooses, visit with family and friends and get himself right with the Lord before his demise.

I'm terribly, terribly sorry for the loss of your loved ones Monkey. You have my most sincere condolences on your sister-in-law and those precious kids. Such young lives wasted by this piece of ****. Soon the bastard will get his.

I'll shut up now because sure as hell if'n I don't, some bleeding heart will chime in and talk about what a terrible childhood this loser had and how society has kicked him and put him down so bad that he turned to a life of crime and murder because he was such a misfit and how we should pity him for his actions.

********. :grumble:

Agreed! I have similar thoughts on the topic! Thanks.

This piece of garbage is still breathing at our expense. The needle is way too humane for him.I say we bring back the guillotine or maybe "stoning" for this case.Crap like this makes me very angry.

Thanks Red.

I am grateful for all the responses/condolences etc. This has been going on far too long. Oddly enough, one of his bs appeals turned into good caselaw used all over the state and country! Pisses me off to see it pop up every now and then. Criminal Appeals lawyers all recognize my name. I do not do appeals work obviously. :)

I once had a slight debate with a very good lawyer I know who does not believe in the death penalty. After his refusal to let even the slightest inclination toward using it into his opinion I resolved it for him in this light: I advised that he is entitled to his own opinion. However, I despise the idea that I share moments in time with this being. I shutter at the thought of myself enjoying a hotdog while he does the same in H block or he can get a glimpse of that feeling when my morning sun also shines warmly on his face! I no longer want to share the Earth with this man and want it over. Would you not feel the same way if someone shot your child family members in the face at point blank range and burried them to rot?

His reply was awesome! "Wow. When you put it like that I guess I may feel differently if it were me. Never had anyone break it down like that."

I use a similar line every now and again. :) Time to end his light.

GED, I agree with your statement regarding executing inmates in a more timely manner, only if the conviction comes with indisputable evidence. My wife was in the court room 2-3 years ago for a death sentencing for a man convicted of first-degree murder. It was obvious by many in the courtroom (based off facts, not emotions) that he wasn't guilty. If he was truly innocent, it's disgusting that we executed an innocent man. Not only for the obvious fact that he was innocent, but the family of his victim(s) only have a sense of justice based off a lie. Not only that, but the inmate's family is suffering the same way the victim's family is. If only he had more time...

Sorry to hijack MyMonkey, I didn't mean any disrespect. I may have more of a liberal heart than most here, but I still believe in eye for an eye. It doesn't matter if he gets 20 more years with 3-meals and hot showers or lethal injection tomorrow, the fact is that both options are too good for him and giving him such luxuries is an insult to your family. To take an adult's life is despicable enough, but children, too? I'm sorry your family has had to experience what happened and then get run through the wringer for this long waiting for justice. Words can't express my deepest condolences I have for you and your family, especially your brother and the grandparents of the two kids.
