Intuit has taken sides. Hope they enjoy the backlash.

Intuit, the company that owns "Turbo Tax" and the business accounting software "Quickbooks", has decided to withdraw credit card processing from Federal Firearms Licensees who were using their service. They don't approve of firearms sales. Guess what? I no longer approve of Intuit.

It won't. Businesses are free to arbitrarily choose who they do business with, so long as it doesn't discriminate against protected classes of people. But that coin has two sides. We can discriminate against Intuit. Spread this link around.

It's not just these guys. This is an orchestrated move on financial firms. I knew about the bank moves; I hadn't heard about tax preparers. It comes right from the Oval Office. Play or pay.

The smart boys in the West Wing don't miss a beat.

Intuit doesn't MAKE the laws. Their software is for accurately FOLLOWING the legal laws for deductions.
So if they intentionally omit certain LEGAL deductions (solely based on their preference) and then advertise as the best accurate tax-deduction software - .... that sounds like fraudulent advertising to me.

Legal recourse anyone?

Imagine if this were discriminating against homosexuals. Front page news, lawsuits, govt. action.

Also, funny is how they think companies like Hobby Lobby should be forced to pay for abortions against their wishes but they are supportive of companies that want to cut off firearms related businesses.

They just replied back and said the rumor going around is Intuit is nolonger supporting online firearm related businesses, and face to face stuff was still OK. For now.

None of what i've said is based on fact, just what i'm hearing.
