How did old and fat people shop before there were all those electric scooter carts in the stores? Seriously, how did they do it? It's not like stores have had these things forever.

Dunno, but there were a lot fewer fat people years ago than there are today. According to the CDC, the obesity rate in the US has gone up in the last 20 years; the lowest obesity rate in 2011, in Colorado, was 20.7%; the highest, in Mississippi, was 34.9%. In 1994, under the old survey guidelines which were discontinued a couple years ago, the obesity rate in more than half the country was < 10%. Even discounting that by 50%, that's still quite a jump from then to now.

Spike the tires or pour a 2 liter Dr. Pepper into the electronics ;)

That being said, I'm all for giving the truly handicapped a break or right of way, but bristle at those that progressively handicap themselves and demand special access or treatment instead of addressing the underlying problems.

If you really want to see a blocked aisle in Crest, go in there after midnight. It is totally unreal with all the boxes in the aisles and all the stockers working their azzes off. It is quite a site. You have to tightly weave down an aisle.

CDC stats

33.9% of Americans are obese.

34.4% of us are overweight, but not yet fat enough to be considered obese.

That leaves roughly 31 percent of us either at or under our ideal weight. I'm curious where the advertised one in six Americans are that struggle with hunger? Do they shop at Wal-Mart?

My son is a Quadraplegic in a wheelchair.
You inconsiderate self consuming assholes are only one accident from being in the same place.
Think about what you just said about the handicapped and reconsider your opinion of being "inconvienced".

Some of you don't deserve to breathe the oxygen your given.
