I don't remember when it happened, but I do remember the weight to be considered obese was lowered some time ago. That doesn't mean we don't have a weight problem, but it is obviously exaggerated some.
I've done better by giving up as much "synthetic" food as possible, like giving up margarine and using real butter, avoiding artificial sweeteners and using 'Sugar in the Raw' instead, and giving up "processed" food. I feel better, too.
