You know I used to feel the same as most of you about people blocking the aisle in Crest, Wally World, etc. Last week I was out for the first time after open heart surgery, using my rollator (walker on wheels) and I had a really difficult time keeping out of peoples way. I didn't realize just how difficult it would be. Maybe some of these people are the same and are trying, although I know some just don't care.
Goodness ... Hope you are feeling better and on the road to a full recovery.
People block aisles, regardless of physical condition or appearance, because they have been "Entitled" to do so. It is cultural for some, a lack of proper parental training for others, and a general backlash of the decay of society for everyone. I motionlessly occupy this spot because my (fill blank) said I was "SPECIAL".
I expect it to occur, so I stand quietly looking at them until they move. Most apologize half-halfheartedly as they move themselves. In some cases I simply profile and navigate around them. Moving at speed with intent seems to encourage many to clear the pathway.
Has anyone ever noticed the proclivity of the sheep-like to gather in the exit portals regardless of room size or available space? Now that one pisses me off.
This ... society, in general, is just rude these days ... I've been guilty of it a time or two ... I certainly hope that I've never been that way without being provoked, but I'm guessing there is at least one or two people out in the big wide world who would tell you I have been.
"Aisle"
"Taking"
"Handicapped"
ROFLMAO ... thank you ...
