I'm not sure about the rules now but I forgot mine a couple of years ago. After a trip to OKC to get a good birth certificate and then spending the rest of the day either at the testing office or the tag agent, I promise you I will never forget them again. I left my house at 7 am and returned at 6 pm with a new license. Hopefully the rules have changed or you haven't went past the grace period. Good luck

'Cept I was lucky enough to have a blow-out on I44. Naturally the spare in the borrowed car was flat. Did I mention that the borrowed car lacked a jack in the first place?
Trooper that pulled over to lend a hand was all aces! Really nice guy...tried to remember his name, but after the dizzying experience of acquiring my certified copy of birth certificate, his name eluded me. Truly wanted to give that guy props to his boss... He really went above and beyond the call to help me out.

Know what's truly screwed up about the bureaucratic BS of getting your drivers license renewed? A concealed carry permit is not considered valid ID at the tag agency, but it is at the place where you get your certified copy. Now, how jacked up is that?!

It's all good. My wife is chauffering me around today. I'm thinking of going to the small community north of here and getting a new license today, but I would have change my name to Pablo. It will cost me a little more than what the state charges though.
