I am unlike some of the other guys when it comes to hard tops. I would take a Best-Top Super top "soft top" over a hard top. I have bought 6 or 7 Jeeps with hard tops. I pull them off and never put them back on until I sell them. I have not had a newer Jeep, so the hard tops may be better on them. I have had plenty of CJs and the hard tops are no better then a good soft top. Just alot harder to put on and off. I have had the 4,6, and 8 cyl engines. The straight 6 is the best by far, but I would not turn a Jeep down because of a 4 cyl.

If I couldn't afford the 6 cylinder, I'd save until I could. It's not like it should take a year. But I'm not owning another 4 cylinder Wrangler. Someone pulled out in front of me at 5 A.M. on SE 59th & Douglas just outside the hangers at Tinker. I bounced off them and ate the stoplight pole. It turned out to be a good thing since I was paid more for it that I had paid 3+ years earlier. I also have a new found respect for stoplight poles.
