I know some parts of Guthrie outskirts have changed.
Huge fields you could see for miles are riddled with houses.
Ponds are gone..what used to be a buggy trail is a paved road.

You are correct! As a kid I rode my bike all around Guthrie and surrounding areas with a fishing pole in tow. I used to sneak in and fish the pond where the current WalMart is. Time has a way of changing things.

Where’d you go?

Joined the Air Force in 1983 right after graduating high school. Bounced around from state to state, but most recently moved here from Idaho where we had lived for nearly 15 years. Hated leaving Idaho, but the move was to be closer to my wife’s family.
