I used to buy 1911 parts from him , he also worked on my pistols a few times. Last time was in mid 1980's.
His .45 Auto Handbook is one of my benchside references.
Alas none of the business cards have a phone# on them.
If I find contact info for him I will pass along the message.

It was meant is a compliment. I always thought you were a great gunsmith. Intelligence is a requirement to obtain that level of competence. You’ve been drifting out of public view. I just don’t want to see you disappear altogether.

Now he is 74, still writing/recording/touring, and married to Daryl Hannah.

He didn't burn out nor has he faded away yet. May we all manage to do the same.
