Lapua suspends manufacturing of 7 brass cartridges

That stinks cause I shoot a 260.

If anyone’s got a line on some let me know.

I shoot 260 in two different rifles but I no longer use Lapua brass. I like Peterson brass.

I bought some 7mm-08 from Starline and resized it.

7mm-08 is half the price of .260.

I agree. 30-30 is a hard bird to find.

Ya thats nuts. I used to never believe there would come a time when 30-30 would be non existent on shelves.

With that said, look at 45-70 pricing dear god. I can find it but direct thru remington or federal, same company now I know, vista outdoors, but damn $67 and $66 a box. 3 boxes and you are at $200, its nuts.

I have seen it as high as $89 tho.

I probably should get set up to reload but honestly I would not know what I was doing.

I think my local Walmart has boxes of 45-70 for $50

Technology takes years to make it out here. Im surprised we still aren’t using Springfield Trapdoors to be honest.

But yeah, longer range calibers are the choice. 30-30 is hard to beat though for a good ranch rifle.
