Tried out some new ammo (to me) today and got some shots. First shot is .223 60 grain soft point 25 yards.
Second pic is standard .223 55 grain FMJ at 25 yards for comparison.
Didn't really expect much difference at this close of range, but had to be sure before I put the ammo into the defensive role. Mainly checking cycling.

I tested some new small game tips with my crossbow this morning. They’re not the same quality as Zwickey Judo points, but I think they’ll work what I plan to do.

Just finished stretching the 10/22 out to 100yds with a $50 4x32 Barsaka scope.
Once sighted in, hitting the 5" plate at that range was just too easy.

Mag wasn’t cheap but it ran fine on CCI mini mags
February 13 for me. Took the new carry gun out to get used to it. Shot 85 rounds flawlessly that evening.
