Not sure why since I haven't seen the movie in years, but Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds came to mind:

I’d put the original Eleanor on the list ahead of this one, even though I never cared for the looks of the ‘71-‘74 Mustang and I love the remake’s version. Halicki’s Eleanor didn’t have any CGI, it really got beat to hell racing (and jumping and getting wrapped around a telephone pole) through LA.

I’d put the original Eleanor on the list ahead of this one, even though I never cared for the looks of the ‘71-‘74 Mustang and I love the remake’s version. Halicki’s Eleanor didn’t have any CGI, it really got beat to hell racing (and jumping and getting wrapped around a telephone pole) through LA.
Fair. I can't remember which one it was (probably the one your reference) but I remember reading somewhere that an Eleanor was the one car given an actually casting credit for a movie in history.
