That's pretty interesting... did you coat the grip, or did you mix the Cerakote to try to match that color or what? I didn't think you could coat those "rubberized" textured grips.

<edit> Looking back at it again, it may be a harder plastic than I originally thought.

My girlfriend with her AR after various parts on the rifle were cerakoted Sig Pink...

Man, I needa keep my GD'd mouth shut on this one, lol.

My Cerakote guy didn't want to coat the buffer tube, he said they don't hold up well. I don't think it should be too much of a problem, he showed me a pump shotgun he did that showed almost no wear under the slide, and certainly your buffer tube ain't gonna get as much movement, nor as much friction as a shotgun slide. But oh well...
