Easton has lived with us a week now, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better dog. He’s a perfect gentleman and gets along with both the other dogs and the cats, and he‘s got the sweetest disposition. His weight loss program is coming along nicely, and he loves to retrieve so doesn’t mind the exercise.

He seems to have a heck of a nose, and I’m considering trying to see if he’s cut out for blood trailing. I’ve missed having a tracking/trailing dog since Annie died.

Give him a little test with some liver.
I dread the sandburrs but might not have them as bad down there.

He can probably do it. I think most dogs can if you can train them.

Easton made his first trip up yesterday and made himself at home in the river when we rode down to check the water level.
