Reciever made it early, Tac sol barrel and pins and timney trigger group should be here tomorrow. Then scope and bipod then Thompson reciever for my next build w/ houge overmould stock and Adam's & Bennet bull barrel

Nice . . . I built one not too long ago myself. CDNN had a bull barrel on sale and I ended up buying a receiver on Gunbroker and parts on eBay.

Ended up going with a ProMag Archangel stock.

Did you know the scope mounts on the top and middle are on backwards? It looks like you can put your eye directly on the glass.

What do you think of the Thompson receiver? I've been thinking of picking one up.

Bought an T/C R22 for my kids last year. I am very impressed with them. Here is a post on RC that shows bolt and receiver comparisons to a Ruger 10/22

I just took them.out today and was pretty impressed with it. But didn't get to shoot that much since we were teaching the youngest to shoot.

No I haven't used one of those mounts before. I guess they will get flipped tonight after I get home.
