All quiet here fortunately. That's a pretty large one at Weatherford.

My neighbor sent me a text yesterday. Said he was burning brush on Sun (when it was very windy here) and embers started a fire on the back end of my property in a wooded area. He said he had to take down the fence to get his box blade over there to knock the fire down.

I went up there and looked and there's a spot about 200 sq ft that's been bladed. Can't tell there was a fire. I'm thinking he was really lucky. The fence has been repaired and it rained that night so it apparently wasn't a big deal...this time.

I can't believe he was burning on such a windy day. He seems to have a knack for making poor decisions.

You can’t fix stupid. This was my back yard last year when some nitwit was doing a “controlled” burn in similar conditions.
