I squeezed five of my cars into my garage like I did on the last go around. I've seen pictures of hail that hit in Ponca last night. I'm glad I had them in yesterday afternoon. One bad thing about the next round is it isn't going to happen till it's dark out.
We keep every vehicle covered, but my truck is headed to the body shop in the AM to repair some minor damage. He will get it inside hopefully.
We keep missing the big rains and storms by as close as a mile so far.
6" of rain just west of us the other night. We got 1/2".
70 MPH winds three miles North of us two nights ago, we missed it.
Got 1 1/2" of rain last night. Trees down in town, nothing here.
Our time is coming, but not yet.
Anywhere up and down I35 and west to begin with. Not necessarily a lot of storms like last Saturday, just more likely those that do occur will be more severe. Next update is at 10am.
Storms develop in a line in Kansas and build south through western oklahoma through the afternoon. These are going to affect most of the state while moving east on thru the evening and night. There will be multiple supercells and all the ingredients are there for powerful, long track tornadoes. I guess all the "it might tornado" days until now were for regular tornadoes, this time they are saying expect EF4/5 and huge hail.
