Check the federal jobs register for your area... there should be a number of Federal jobs in your field.... in your area. Great pay & benefits. Very little chance of a layoff. Any Federal buildings with computer systems, court houses, military bases, you should have a very wide field to choose from.
Also check with the state and county jobs listings... they are big computer users. Try the state & county treasurer's offices. Call the treasurer's offices directly.. you never know...one door closes as another one opens!
