I have bought my Samsung fridge and my Maytag washer and dryer form Lowes. And my hot water tank. I purchased the extended warranty and had to use it on my dryer and it was super easy. The rollers were wore out so it was squeaking real bad. Other than that I haven’t had any issues. My hot water tank messed up a bunch and they had me take my old one in and they gave me a brand new one. This one has been great so far. And it’s the best hot water tank I’ve ever had. It’s amazing.

Might be needing one for our hunting place. Mind sharing which hot water tank you bought? Always good to have a 1st hand review.

Here, but occasionally There.
It's just the wife and me and we do the same. Hand wash pretty much all of our dishes. We do use the dishwasher as a drying rack though and run it about every 4 to 6 weeks just to keep it clean.

Well, in all honesty, our dishwasher is 70 years old. Since we now live in an RV, she won't even let me do the dishes. Once in a great while, she may let me wash and rinse my own plate/bowl/whatever if I've dawdled over the meal too long.

Hey Rick, I see you have a dalmatian, just put the dish's on the floor and I bet they will be licked clean, problem solved.
I did that once to the ex-wife, set the dish on the floor, dog licked it clean and I put it in the cabinet wi the other clean dishes, I did it because she always let the dog clean the dirty plates that had leftover food on them. I did not approve of her practice because of the hygiene infraction. She was really PO'd but she is gone. Yippie!

Yeah, the ones we have now have a specific sanitation cycle that steams everything before the drying cycle. I have no idea what the actual temperature in there is, because we scrub everything thoroughly enough to dry and put back in the cabinet before they even go in the dishwasher. I may get curious enough to find a digital thermometer that could go in there and recall peak temperature for curiosity's sake.
Great idea. I have one of these, there may be some cheaper. I'm going to try this as one can watch it real time on a graph to see how the temps run inside.

We do the same in the RV, but at home I'm the head cook, and I like to use a lot of cookware so the dishwasher gets daily use.

You might want to research that online. If the digital thermometer "sender" has plastic in its construction, it might melt if it gets hot enough in the dishwasher.

Oh yeah, I am looking for one that is rated well above the heat and moisture content of a dishwasher.

They do make plate simulating dishwasher testers for commercial kitchen hygiene checks, but Im not sure Im $75 curious haha.
