She was just sworn in at Lt. Gov. last year, so she's not up for re-election yet. Just wanted to find out if anyone had any issues with her (other than the "D" thing).

I voted for her.

The first time I've voted democrat.

It was primarily because Todd Hiett wanted to take my pension that I and other police officers paid for to secure our own future and give it to someone else.:censored:

Dude, why didn't you go up to her and explain that you didn't know who you were going to vote for? I'm sure she would have answered one question. I would have loved to have heard her answer.

I don't know anything about her other than what others have said. But she seemed an extremely intelligent lady during her last campaign. And I never heard her say anything that didn't wash with me except her support of the Waffle King Kerry, but what are you to do? These days I view all Democrats as suspicious. They have to prove themselves to me. The repubs are just generally "less of a gamble". Don't get me wrong, I have voted for democrats in the past, although very few I admit. And it was a very long time ago.

She is not only a very asute politician, she is a very bright woman. I grew up in Stephens County (where she is from) and she has always been a formiable figure. While I have some issues with the "privileges" she believes she is entitled to as Lt. Gov., I have seen nothing of her work as an attorney, when she was on the P/P Board or now that would make me question her commitment to Oklahoma or the founding fathers or her ethics, regardless of her political affiliation.

I agree with SR here.
Just because she is a democrat, I am suspicious. Of course nowdays if someone is a republican I find myself being suspicious also.
I have heard she is a decent person. I don't know if that makes her a good Lt. Governor though.

That's good to know. She is our Lt. Governor after all....

I know what you mean. I've never placed much weight in the party affiliation. I always vote for the person's stance on the issues. I was being really general when I said that.
