The nuts look slightly rounded off. I’d bet they used the largest socket that would fit over the taper.

That may be the biggest dumbassing job I’ve ever seen. What’s more amazing was the effort put behind it. They were definitely motivated to pull this off, but I guess when you combine crystal meth with extreme stupidity, feats like this can be achieved.
the scratch marks running up and to the left means they were 100% using something like an open ended wrench or even channel locks to get 'em as tight as they did.

Most rational/sober people with any sense normally do. Im betting that they were probably higher than a kite and probably not too bright to begin with.

They said they didn’t have to breakout their air tools near as often. He was correct this baby will take off rusted bolts on cars. No more busted Knuckle.
Here’s the one I got but boy they’ve come up to $350ish. The link is a B model so I’m no sure the difference but thats about what I paid maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Well worth just over $200.
