I know this is an old thread but I picked up a carbine paratrooper stock and was wondering how to tell if it is an original or a repro. Any help would be much appreciated.

Looks good from here but you never can tell. In the 80's I bought the tooling and parts from the defunct P&S sales who was making repops with surplus parts.
Was going to gear up and make some, but some guys from Texas tracked me down and bought the stuff.
Then On April 26th 1994 I picked up 24,000 carbine stocks, about 5,000 22 and shotgun stocks and 30,000 pounds of slings from Anniston Alabama depot. Loaded them on 3 semi's and my truck and headed them to WhatACountry in Ca.
Almost 30 years later and he's still selling off that load.
Yasha later showed me one of the pallets was paratrooper stocks.
