If its like most manufacturing facilities, they do a QA every ten or so items coming off the CNC. There is always that employee that doesn't want a reject on his performance report, or thinks they are doing the company a favor by not changing out tooling at recommended cycles.

I got my rifle back today. I won't get to shoot it for a week or two but I am looking forward to it, unless I sell it first. I believe Magnum Research to be fast concerning their warranty work, I am impressed with their turn-around time. Here is a look at the new barrel at the muzzle end.

I have one of the 17/22's and it is an great shooter. It shoots a nice little group at 50yds., 3/4moa with eley match ammo.
