Any amendment that isn't absolute has the exceptions/clear intent written in, (with examples highlighted in red). Assembly to petition the government must be held peaceably. Slavery/servitude is prohibited except as punishment for whomever has been duly convicted. Search and seizure is prohibited except by a duly sworn warrant describing precisely what is to be search and/or seized. Many other conditions apply before any right retained by the people can be infringed or abridged. The Second Amendment has no exceptions that would permit infringement, ergo, it is absolute.
