Medical Marijuana for Oklahoma

Please contact your senator tomorrow and let them know you support medical cannabis. The time is getting shorter, and there are people that suffer from cancer, MS, and debilitating diseases that need your support. I had spine surgery 10 years ago and have to take harsh opioids to try and control the pain, but they just don't work unless they keep increasing the dosage, and I don't want that. I want to get free of them and help manage the pain with cannabis rather than the strong meds. Yes, I'm the guy that was on Channel 9 tonight, and it sucks bring in pain all the time, never getting a break. Oklahoma can do a better job of setting it up than the other states, and it should be in the hands of the doctors, not the politicians to play political games with. Let our doctors decide. 18 states have passed it, and 10 more are writing legislation., and Oklahoma doesn't need to be the last one. The state can also make revenue from it, but let's help the people that need the help. Please c all or email your senator, and tell them you support medical cannabis? Thanks.

Why should government and doctors control access to a plant? You can buy more dangerous plants at Walmart...

I say nope......drug addiction starts (usually) with marijuana. Then they want to get MORE high, so let's try Meth, or Cocaine, or heroin. Just my experience. That is for the decriminalazation........Not sure how I feel about the medical portion. There is already drugs available for pain management.

Most drug addiction starts with alcohol and then tobacco, on to prescription drugs, you cant be addicted to something that has been scientifically proven to NOT be physically addicting but is mildly habit forming, which means it is a psychological dependency not an addiction, both of which have clear distinctions.

More people die daily from just one of those Big 3 Industries named above than have ever been harmed in the history of the human race from marijuana. Compassion and healing do not come from giant corporations with thousands of jobs depending on them. Heck from what I have seen of healthcare in general compassion and healing are not part of the program at all.
