Members who just want arms list, should I be bothered? Classifieds gripe…

@BrassGoblin I responded to the add and would like to know how one would go about proving what it is exactly..I am curious myself and give the same credit to long term members as i do to new guys..I was a new guy once.

Some long term and some new guys are only here to sell and seldom visit the fishing or reloading section.
I joined for the outdoor stuff----- fish---- -hunt' reload.

I seen that. The upper is bca. You can tell by the barrel and handguard. It's a distinct feature of their rifles. They normally have side charging uppers but do sell normal rear charging as well. I have a similar 6.5 grendel upper from bca. I don't have the stainless barrel. This upper is junk. Failures of all kinds. I've rebuilt it using good parts but it seems that the whole upper is out of spec. Had i paid for it, I'd be upset.
For contrast psa has like a 99% non return rating. While some people have had issues, almost everyone has had issues with bca. So he's trying to purposely pass it off as a better brand. As well as get me banned for calling him out on it.
I also reload. Haven't hunted here yet but do have my license lol got a buddy in tulsa that invites me but it's hard to schedule around my wild work schedule.

You may or may not know the wildlife managment areas in oklahome are good to hunt on especially during a week day.
Some have gun ranges on them that are free to use if you have a hunting license.

I drive from Yukon to Lexington to shoot at their range and off concrete benches

yeah I'm probably going to try this year. I never hunted in Florida and I regret it now. I did hunt in VA but never got lucky all 4 years lol
I go to range 66. really nice range ran by awesome people.
also update on this guy. this isn't the first time he's done this. awhile back he listed one as a spikes. this guy truly is dishonest. how long has he been scamming people? since 2007? that's absolutely wild to me. and to think IM supposedly facing a ban?

Well it seems I won't be getting the subscription here. I respectfully corrected a seller and it turns out he's doing it on purpose. Which is essentially scamming, considering the price difference. His words were "newb" and "one of us is gunna learn"
In short, if that dishonesty is allowed here, I'll just continue my business with armslist. Honesty is a must in this hobby and if just being a member long enough is to allow dishonesty then it's not my place to hang out. I've met a couple people here and they were awesome. As most people in our hobby are. But at no point will I let dishonest people have a hold over my head because of "senority".

I'm sure most people here are good. I would never assume ALL people would be bad however, this man is straight scamming people and the owner himself, wanted me muted. This was back in October and I'm still unable to post to the classifieds. I mean it's fine, I use armslist and have been since like 2010 with no problems. I've won a raffle for a rifle and met great people. I come here and instantly find a scammer and when he gets called out for it, I get a mute from the owner who doesnt even live in OK.
One of the things that man said was "you're going to learn" and i did. Id never support someone who willfully allows scammers and mutes "newbs".
But yes, other than that, it's been good here. I may not always reply but I do like reading the threads and checking the classifieds everyday.

Oh and I forget that other people came forward on his post and in my DMs saying the same thing. Either he scammed someone, ripped them off or ghosted them which are all clearly against the rules but yet, he's still here. Apparently even has the owner in his pocket.

I had a kid here recently ask me 2 pages of questions about a firearm I had posted. He even asked for more pictures, I obliged. In the end he admitted he was just trying to learn more about guns snd had zero intention of buying my firearm,

I did message him about wasting my time in the end and recommend he be clear moving forward what his intentions are.
