It's just that the way you wrote it originally sounded contradictory to me.When a government openly demonstrates that it fears its citizens by threatening to unleash the power of its military against them, the citizens who live under the control of that government have a valid reason to fear that government. Tyrannical governments ‘rule’ by force rather than functioning with the participation and ‘consent’ of their citizens…..
