That's rough man. I'm always amazed at how much joy these little guys bring in to our lives. It may sound silly but I will keep you in my prayers tonight.

It will get easier I promise. I have a good idea how you feel. My iguana died Dec 6th and I was absolutely broken.
He was 18 years old too and it was like a person died. He had been with me longer then my wife. I had a mild case of
depression when he died because of health problems and someone running into me and totaling my car. But I went
severe depression when he passed and had to get help. Please don't let this happen to you if you are having a hard
time getting out of it, seek help.

I know, it sucks.

Sorry to hear that. It will get better. We put our thirteen year old down this last fall. If it was better for her it is better for you.

Thanks for the kind words. My six year old grandson does not know yet and so the pain will continue for a while longer.

Tough deal. The kids are gone, so our dogs are our kids. We love them and pamper them, but like all things important to us, we have to give them up.
