Pfft ... I wasn't one of those "hey, let's procreate" kinda gals (oldest of 7) ... I simply wanted to play with you and then kick you outta the house before breakfast. (Do you have any idea how many guys expect you to fix them breakfast if you let them stay the night???!?!!? Sheesh ...)

Well I gotta say that there are NOT any more like you out there! As for the breakfast thing, all the ladies I "meet" now-a-days want to cuddle and spend the whole next day together! It's like we become a couple after one night. WTF?!

That is for sure!!

I had a few guys do that "I got some, I liked it, so that must mean we are a couple" thing. Either that or they were looking for a housekeeper with benefits ... By the time GC came along I was pretty much convinced I was just gonna stay single ... But, danggit ... he turned out to be a nice guy (with a steady job even! ) Now look at the mess I am in!

Funniest thing I ever had happen was many, many years after I left college (like one marriage, 3 kids, countless jobs) I ran into this guy at a lumber yard. He kept following me around trying to make small talk while I was trying to corral the kids and pick out a paint. Finally he said "You don't remember me, do you?"

Seems I had taken him home with me ONE night after ladies night at the local bar ... He remembered me like 10 YEARS LATER!! Wanted to "pick up where we left off" ... I was like "Dude ... really?!?! ... Uhmmm since I don't remember where we were it is gonna be kinda hard to pick it up, don't cha think."

I never went back into that lumberyard again ... (I still don't remember him ... :and believe me I HAVE TRIED!! LOL )

Wow! You must have made quite the impression on him! It doesn't seem to matter if you are a guy or girl anymore. All that seems to be left to pick from is psycho or super psycho! I'm currently at the point you said you were (convinced I'm going to be single forever). Which it really doesn't bother me. I can go have "fun", hang out with my buddies and have ALL MY MONEY TO MYSELF!!!

Honestly I LIKED being single. Maybe it was because I grew up in a three bedroom house with 4 sisters and 2 brothers and mom and dad ... maybe I am just a be-yotch ... depends on who you talk to.

Much as I love GC if anything ever happens I'll stay single. I like my "me time"!

ETA: and Oh! I like October ... that's a MUCH easier position to "work from" than May!

That sounds like it was a busy household! I don't think you and GC will ever have issues. At least not from what I gather from this forum. You guys seem to be pretty solid! Gotta say though, I love my "me time" as well! Are you sure you're talking about October? I think you might mean September. That is a much more "workable" position. As far as I can tell, the position is under the month.
