Oh no he hasn't did anything ,but appoint judges to the supreme court that are completely anti gun as for allowing carry in national parks that just a false since of security. He is smart enough to know a full frontal attack will never work, so give us something like that and make everyone feel nice an safe and then kick the back door in.Obviously it's worked on on some of you.
Politics are quite humorous. It amazes me that Obama has done nothing to infringe the 2nd Amendment, and yet is again the target of the NRA this time around. IF this is always the case for a Democratic Presidential Candidate, then what incentive do they have in the future to care what the NRA says? If there is no acknowledgement of a term well-done, then why try to appease them? Sometimes I think the NRA does more damage than good when it comes to elections.

In reality though I realize that the NRA has become just another lobby organization, dependent on fear to pull in the mighty $$$. None of this is taken seriously by either candidate. Just like a professional athlete is required to stay after the game for the press conference, the Republican nominee is required to sing to the choir every election cycle.

Facts are just that... facts.

You've got two options for President in Oklahoma: Socialism, or Socialism with a drop of Fascism. There's no freedom-supporting choice - and that's the bottom line.

Im arriving a lil late but heres my take/spin. Between Mitt and Obummer, im voting for Obuma.

Mitt just seems flaky and out of touch. Mitt is from Mass, mich and utah. Every where is home, he is uber rich, has a poor 2A record, holder of title to Romneycare, flip flops like nobody ive ever seen.
If Romney picks Rubio for VP, and rubio accepts, that tells me Rubio the tea partier is just like the rest of the rino's. That ticket will not get my vote.

I also wont be voting for our incumbent senators mainly because they could have done a better job negoiating with the Dems on the healthcare issues. When you dont have the numbers and your forced to negotiate, you need to do your job, not stall and posture then blame the other side. We have to live with that no matter whose to blame.

I like the idea of keeping the government divided, they do less damage that way.

So good, bad or indifferent, unless something big changes, im voting blue for prez. Romney will not get my vote.

Every four years people go running down the street screaming "They're coming for our guns". The same happens when there's a vacancy on the SCOTUS. The last 3 1/2 years it seems every gun show add had a little line in it like "Get your guns while their legal". Dang near every gun shop I go into has told me the same thing for as long as I can remember.

I still have me guns. I can still buy guns, I can still go to gun shows.

Do you really want to call everyone else gullible?

I'm still waiting for whomever can tell me what Obama has done that makes him worth voting for?

When the day comes that I have to explain to my grandkids (who will still be paying off Obama's deficit) why Obama was given a second term to screw the economy up even more, I'll just tell them that it's because everyone decided to "teach the GOP a lesson".

Highest corporate tax rate of the civilized world
Record levels and legnths of unemployment
Highest sustained gas prices ever
Largest National Debt ever
Greatest level of yearly deficit spending ever

Oh ya baby... give me some more of all that with some whipped cream on top too. :ugh2:

At least he's got everyone airing up their tires now though.

Adjusted for inflation, Woodrow Wilson holds that honor.

I'll have to check on that, but remember I said sustained. Isn't the point really that it's not pennies we're counting here, it's the whole idea that gas has been way too high for way too long. Nitpicking a few cents and declaring that's the reason Obama should be re-elected, because he's only the SECOND highest and longest high gas prices ever is kinda silly and just a testament to the reason we're in this mess.

The key here would be national debt increase, which Ronald Reagan current holds the honor followed by Bush II, if I'm not mistaken.

I said National Debt. And no, the key is the raw amount of $ that we owe. Nobody even touches Obama... With respect to National Debt INCREASE, Obama still wins though. He's added 4.9 Trillion. Bush II added 4.3 or something (in Eight Years btw). Reagan doesn't even come close. If you want to do it by %, you might want to compare apples to apples and consider that Obama did it in 3.5 years too instead of 8 or 8 or whatever else you come up with.

These tired arguments about how Obama isn't that bad are just ridiculous as we watch the jobs reports and stock market continue to go down. Everyone seems to be avoiding the question about why WOULD you vote FOR him.... what has he done to deserve another 4 years? :anyone:

I'm really sorry, I have continued the jacking that this thread has become. This is in the 2A section so it's really supposed to be about 2A issues, so I'll stop with this post and get back on that track. Encourage everyone else to do the same.

I'm voting for Obama for the same reason I voted for Bush 2, because i weathered the first four and the current alternative sucks. (IMO) i dont feel Romney has the balls or willing to risk the fallout to make the necessary changes this country needs. Neither does Obama btw.
