I looked when I was shed hunting a couple weeks ago and didn’t find any. I’m afraid if Alfalfa county doesn’t get some rain there won’t be any again this year.
I’m planning to look again when I up the first weekend in April.
At least you still have some in the freezer.

We got morels in our yard last year for the first time in 30 years of living here. Watched a YouTube video that said to wash the shrooms and spread the spores in the wash water around dead wood, etc. I did that and spread the water in the same places the morels grew so it will be interesting to see if they come back.
Let us know how this turns out

It's so dry, I doubt anything but sandburrs will grow this year.
Once this cold spell gets over, I am going to try and run some water hose up that direction and put a sprinkler on it.
The method seems to work on YouTube videos, so it's worth a try.

It's so wet here there's water standing somewhere in all my pastures.

lucky you! I went to the farm yesterday in Grant County. The big pond is about a foot deep except where I had a dozer come in and dig out the shallow end sediment. I'll be losing fish if it stays that low and gets hot.
