A lady called in once to report a snake had crossed her recently seeded yard. The track she pointed out was about 2 inches wide and easily 1.5 inches deep. It was a bicycle track.
All I can say if that’s a dog it didn’t have claw impressions on any track and that’s one big frickin dog. Yikes to both cat or dog whatever it is I don’t want to cross paths with it!
Looks round-ish like a cat track to me. The canine family has a different look IMO.
It's somebody's Great Dane that has been de-clawed.

Dogs dont always leave claw Mark's, my 90lb lab rarely if ever does, has super short nails, he's 10yo and he's never had or needed them trimmed. The center pad top is not a single lobe on a bobcat or lion, it's shaped like an M.

Lion appeared to just be curious. He never took an attack posture until the guy turned and ran aways. Worst thing he could have done because if that cat was really hungry, it would have not ended up well.
