THIS, is a mountain lion!

Guy is one lucky sucker!

Like how the guy was telling the mountain lion, I'm bigger than you. What a joke, if that cat wanted to harm that man he would have.
Also, I know back in the late '90s there was one up near the Kansas line. I spent a lot of time in northern Osage County right off 99 back then. I had a few encounters back then with seeing one and hearing it.

Now they call and text at all times of day and night.

We sportsmen all know cougars and alligators don't exist in southeast Oklahoma. LMAO!

The alligators are in danger in southeastern OK. Rangers and biologists are keeping a close eye on the nests each year with constant checks and motion cameras but feral hogs have been raiding those nests. I got to tag along a few years back.

Actually all that is fake news. There are not 'gators in southern and southeastern Oklahoma, especially in Red River tributaries. There were no mountain lions in Cimarron County this past summer, especially not a female with a cub. There are also no black bear in both of those counties.

That puts me in mind of the black bear my neighbors keep seeing north of Altus. Don't they know anything? How'd that black bear cross all the bare timberless prairie between here and elsewhere? My own theory? That's no bear, that's a black mountain lion.
