I have the 20V version, and it's a beast. Used it to cut 40 or so cedars from 1" to 4" today. Still running strong when done.I second this. I have coworker who has the 20v version and says it will do everything he needs it to do
I have a husky 455 Rancher. Had to drill a hole in the housing to get a squirt of starting fluid toward the carb to get it to start even with a decompression feature. I'd jerk that rope until the sledge hammer option was about to happen.Have a Stihl 310 for quite a while now and I never found it hard to start. The trick to a Stihl is ONLY use the blue Stihl branded 2 cycle oil mixed right instead of the dollar store red cheapo crap. Saw mechanic told me that and he was right.
Had a Husky Rancher 455 before that and that was one tough sum buck. It would eat any kind of oil or gas or mix, it didn't care.
I have a Harbor Freight electric pole saw and it cuts great except extended I can't hold it long due to a bad shoulder. And I also have a cheapie $39.00 electric chain saw from Lowes which cuts without fail through all sorts of wood. Both are easy on my ears too since they aren't gas powered. Hearing-once it's gone, it's gone.
Will the chainsaw start as easy as that weed eater did for Clara? I've never seen a weed eater start so easily. There’s a video in link below demonstrating how short the pull is. It was new then but Clara can still start it.
