My new UBG Holster for my Gen 4 Glock 19, the RTBA (Right to Bear Arms) arrived today. It's a mid-ride OWB pancake rig. I like Nate's holsters; I've bought several from him now. One thing I like is the thinness of the leather, yet it is very stiff and rigid. He makes quite decent holsters, just as long as you like what he offers on his website, www.ubgholsters.com that is, he doesn't do any custom work, so you get what you get. I wish he would loosen up a little bit though and accept some custom orders, at a little extra cost certainly. For example, I would pay a little more for double stitching, especially around the belt slots. But, for $75, it's a very good rig and I am very happy with his work, as I have been in the past. It is one tight holster right now too; I'm gonna let the gun sit in it inside a plastic bag for the rest of today and tonight, then just wear it starting tomorrow to break it in. I think a semi-custom holster from UBG is far better than a mass-produced rig like a Galco or Desantis anyway. It may not be the equal of a Sparks or TT Gunleather holster, but for the price, it's darn fine leather. Of course, a thread like this is no good without pics:
