I have the 3x9x40 on my AR along with the Primary Arms mount.
Looks like a Burris PEPR mount. What in particular is wrong with that? I have one on my varmint rifle for my Vortex 3-9x40 Crossfire II and I've got no complaints. Just wondering why in particular a one-piece mount?
Thanks.
My P-223 (4-12 x 40) has a fixed parallax at 100 yards+, anything under 100 yards is going to be out of focus. Make sure you check that before you buy one if you're going to be shooting under 100 yards most of the time.
Parallax has nothing to do with focus. I liked my nikon 3-9x40 but not enough to keep it. I have a better scope for seeing bullet holes better at 100 200 and 300 yards. I could barely make them out at 100 yards with the nikon ..but it was a buckmaster. Now i feel i need an even better scope to see better at 300+ yards. I bet you will be happy with your choice.
