I don't care about people getting free phones but the comments about a modest tax increase on the wealthy crack me up!!!! They could tax everyone making over $250,000.00 a year at 100$ and still never put a dent in the deficit. We just do not have enough wealthy left in this country. I read an interesting piece the other day about all the foreclosed multi million dollar homes.

They will get some kind of tax increase and guess what, spending will never decrease and neither will the deficit or national debt. Instead they will find some new way to waste the money. As far as the government fixing the problem of people only having part time low paying jobs, right now the government is the biggest cause of it. Yet another company announced the other day that they will probably have to cut their employees to under 30 hours per week because of Obamacare.

Rick, the GOP has missed the bus on Obamacare. A business will pass on to consumers any cost Obamacare may have. My daughter just negotiated a new insurance plan for every employee who works for the Seminole tribe. She saved every employee over $150 each pay period, and the tribes contribution didnt go up a single cent!!! This is medical, eye and some dental.

Do the math, thats $75 a week for 52 weeks, about 100+ employees. All at no additional cost to the tribe. So thats 75x52x100.

Say thank you Obamacare.

We're doing that whole thing over again. The Republicans took over both houses of congress in 1995. They held controll of congress untill 2007. They had the presidency from 2001 until January 2009. There was a Republican at the Federal Reserve, Allan Greenspan. There was a Republican at the SEC, Christopher Cox.

You know who messed up the economy? That Ghadam Barney Frank! It only took him eight months to screw-up what them good FREEDOM Republicans had built up over all them years. That Gahdam Barney Frank, yeah, that's who it was.

Nice try but the facts are that both sides screwed things up going back decades, the Dems just get slightly more blame because of some really stupid moves when they took over congress in Jan. 2007. You do remember that it is congress that has the real power when it comes to the economy don't you? Specifically the House. You should also notice that the most improvement to the economy during Obama's term has been since the Republicans took back the House in 2010.

The part in bold is the worst part but this does not take into account the fact that most business say they are expecting much higher cost in government fees, and it is not the GOP cutting hours and laying off people but the businesses. Even the unions got a deferment for as long as they could so that they did not have to comply. That should tell you something.

100 million cell phone users in the US. If we all had to pay only $50 a month per phone, that would look like this.

$50x12=$600, then multiply that times 100 million. 600x100 million. Thatsa lotta profit margine for the cell phone ppl. Maybe they could help out the poor and give em a free phone. Christ thats a butt load of money.

I don’t have an issue helping anyone but I am sick and tired of helping people who don't want to help themselves! I have been widely reported that drug dealers are also using this Obama program to run their Drug business.

I went by one in OKC last week and most of what I seen were thugs and what appeared to me, to be nothing more that Meth heads. My position is if you can Smoke cigs and do drugs then you can buy your own damn phone.
