rlongnt, it always has. Of course, I'm sure the Auburn/Alabama, UCLA/USC and just about any rivalry you could bring up accomplishes the same thing.

What pisses me off most (other than losing) are OSU fans at the game emulating OU fans. I can remember the days when we lost with some regularity, but at least we were halfway classy. Seems like these days, we're just OU fans in Orange. There are just a lot of people out there on both sides who don't understand important.

Not sure I'm tracking on this one with you. I think as long as you pick a team and stick with them through good and bad times your a fan. I've been a Sooner fan since I was 10, through good and bad, so I consider myself a true Sooner.

He's saying that typically the worst fans, OU or OSU, never stepped foot on campus for academic reasons. I find this to be true also.
