I think he's just talking about the a-hole "fans" of both schools. Most fans of the major collegiate sports programs didn't attend the colleges they support, so it only stands to reason that most of the a-hole "fans" also didn't attend.

YUP, the most rabid fan I've ever see for OU didn't even graduate high school.

He knows all the stats, every players name, their record since inception of the program, and so on.

I know how to trigger his rants, so when we are with co-workers, I'll drop the bomb, and walk away. Slight smile on my lips. My work was done.
