hmmmm hadnt thought of plain ol silver paint. Ill have to ask Alex Jones if that will work. They will probably take away my tinfoil when they put me in the FEMA "reeducation camp".Heres an old timer story i was told. This was circa 1984 I beleive. There were several troopers in pursuit down by Norman off HWY 9. This guy has been running for the past 30 minutes or so all over an expired tag.He finally runs off the road. As three OHP cars pull up he jumps out with a bat still full of fight. The LT. runs up (6-3 250 former Marine) grabs the bat and pops the guy closed fist right in the jaw and yells" you dont run from the Highway Patrol boy". He had no answer because his jaw was broken.

These days you'd get a letter in your file for failing to follow the use of force matrix. In many ways, being a lawman was a lot easier back then. Nowadays you have to be all edjumacated and whatnot! :)

You piss me off all the time, but I still love you.

just teasing you!

I just wished I did it more often and a lot better than what I do. :thumbup3:

Uhhh, it is Boss Hogg.....(I love Daisy Duke's shorts...)

Riiiight, just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they really aren't out to get you......:police2:

Seriously, I am as non-conformist as anyone, borderline Libertarian, but if this is the what I have to get upset about enough to post about it on the internet.........:igetit:

I think people look for reasons to get pissed or indignant. Not picking on the OP, just shaking my head on some of the posters....:preocc:

Lots of people go most of their life times NEVER having been stopped by the cops. When they get stopped by a cop looking for crap, they usually don't like the way they are treated.
A cop is going to look for signs of wrong doing, and if he doesn't see anything suspicious, send them on their way ASAP.
Not politely or nice, just do his screening and get them down the road to check somebody else.
I don't like the third degree or the cop going on a fishing expedition when they pull me over for a traffic violation.
They have a job to do and I understand that. So should most other people.
That doesn't mean you have to like their methods.
One thing to remember though, an inquisitive, prying cop is the one that nailed Tim McVeigh a few hours after the OKC Bombing.

I've been through 2 traffic stops in the last year and both times I was asked where I was headed. So no, they're not just making small talk, and I agree it's none of their business where i'm going as long as I am a free citizen. On the other hand, I understand that they are doing their job and everyone they stop gets asked the same question.
The last time it happened, I was headed to the lake at 6 am with my 16 yr old son and his friend. After he looked in the bed of my truck at the dozen or so rods and reels, tackle boxes and minnow buckets, I nearly cracked up when he said,"where ya headed?".... It was all I could do to keep from saying,"here's your sign". :laugh6:
