I’m glad our legislators are mostly squared away because I don’t have much faith in stitt.

Then you must know something about our legislators that I don't know. I think they are more flaky than Stitt would ever be. Plus, you don't see much in the news about what they believe, so there are very few people who actually hear it from them as to their wishes.

I don't rely on the news to tell me where state legislators stand on 2A issues, I rely on OK2A to keep me informed on that. Don Spencer is there every day the legislature is in session working with the legislators so he should know better than most what's what.

Don Spencer does a lot more than he gets credit for. If he ever leaves OK2A it will be a huge loss for OK gun owners.
The biggest gun lobby in the past was the ORA. They have fallen because of internal issues among board members and the loss of a couple passing away.
The ORA was also responsible for a lot of the insanely complicated trapping laws in the state of Ok as a dark side of that lobby.

I’m cautiously optimistic. I’m keep waiting on the other shoe to drop. Something is off with him.
Like what? He has appeared on national TV advocating for states rights in Ok. He and his family are hunters, fishers, and have guns. He has stated he will sign the Oklahoma Sanctuary state bill when/if it makes its way through the Ok legislature.

I don’t know. I don’t necessarily mean about firearms. He may be the real deal and be a great person. I’ve just had a funny feeling about him from day 1. However, I may be completely wrong and I hope I am. I did vote for him.

Oklahoma's legislature has impressed me. The OK state dems are obviously foreign to this state & completely out of line with its values. The repubes are largely very good, with only a few rhinos in the bunch. I met gov. Stitt by accident, and the first thing he wanted to do was Salute me. It nearly gave me a misty eye LOL. A lot of good bills in committee or coming to the floor shortly. Abolition movement is picking up a lot of support here (this is abolish murder of babies for those not familiar).

As I have said before, it works for all the pot growers and users in this sate now, so why would it not work for gun owners?

Pot is still illegal at the federal level, yet the feds are not taking down all the pot farms popping all over the state, or the businesses that openly sell the finished product, or the people who purchase and use it.

I fail to see why firearms should be any different.
