As I have said before, it works for all the pot growers and users in this sate now, so why would it not work for gun owners?

Pot is still illegal at the federal level, yet the feds are not taking down all the pot farms popping all over the state, or the businesses that openly sell the finished product, or the people who purchase and use it.

I fail to see why firearms should be any different.
That is an interesting topic that I agree with you on.

I’m guessing on the marijuana side it has to do with generating money and keeping the population using it stoned. Easier to manipulate. The premise of it being medicinally used is probably the reason it is tolerated.

Firearms, the Democrats can’t make money off of. They do not believe in personal accountability so they demonize an inanimate object.

Also they don’t want people to have the ability to rise up against them like the founding fathers intended.

Just like when Joe said I don’t work for you to the Union worker on TV talking about gun rights. And Joe said I’m gonna take your your AR14s. You can tell if a politician believes they are a servant for the Republic or they think they lord over you just by their stance on firearms ownership.

He's a politician, so he's already got one strike he's got to work against. lol
Kevin Stitt is Oklahoma's Trump, in that he is a businessman whose first run for office was as Governor of Oklahoma. True, running for any office will make you a politician but is he really a "politician?"

As much as I want nothing to do with the stated topic, I must say this stands to reason. Why Not? is indeed the question. I have to agree. To play devils advocate for a minute I wander what can stop the guberment should they decide to do something about it. Ruby ridge provides a lot of insight on where a state should go with legal efforts to thwart abuse of the rights of our citizenry. Just as in communist regimes the regime can choose to ignore OR enforce whatever it chooses, whenever it chooses.

Well part of what he's doing is screwing me personally as a businessman, so I'm not inclined to like him.

The difference (IMO), is that most libs/progressives/whatever are pro-weed and anti-gun, and pretty much all of 'em vote Democrat.

So Dem politicians aren't going to make near so much noise about states legalizing MJ.

Just my 2¢ ... :drunk2:

I can answer your question. Not enforcing marijuana laws and imposing restrictions on firearms owners both fit a political agenda.

It’s all about control. That is it. The feds know the only way they can attain full control of this country is to disarm us. That’s why every dictator has disarmed the country. It’s hard to fight back against a heavily armed government with sticks. But I also ageee it’s about money. But that comes with power. And the more they have the more money they can make.

So true. I wonder if our founders would have already watered the tree of liberty with these commies.

You don't think the top brass Dems own stock in gun and ammo companies? Every time a Dem takes office, gun sales soar. They'd be fools to not make money off of their own doing.

For starters Democrats are fools. Over the years I’ve seen them run gun companies out of their own states costing them tax revenue and a major loss of jobs that also cost tax revenue. When it comes to firearms and ownership they are completely delusional. There’s not one rational thing when it comes to Democrats and firearms
