Before I retired from the Navy I had never been to Oklahoma. Drove thru with the wife 5 years ago, and decided to stay. I LOVE it here!! I'm VERY proud to be an Okie! God Bless Oklahoma!

I'm so Okie that I did not know that clay was any color other than red till I was a adult and saw some stuff they called clay, but it was not red, so they may have been lying to me.

I am part Scotch, part Irish, part English, part Dutch and part Pottawatomie Indian, my children are 1/2 German and half me, 2 of my grand kids are 1/4 Cheyenne Indian and the other two are 1/4 Kiowa Indian. I am what you can call a typical Okie and proud of every drop of the blood in me and mine.
