I'm all for open carry but I hope everyone who chooses to exercise it also exercises good sense and doesn't try to draw unnecessary attention to themselves.
I have a Ruger Redhawk in .44 mag with a 7 1/2 inch barrel that would look sweet with a cowboy holster and belt with cartridge holders on it.... and a cowboy hat, long hair and a goatee, pierced ear, cowboy boots (no socks) and plaid short pants......
Think anyone would notice?
Well as I orginally suspected the only reason most people wanted this law is so you could go around and flash your firearm. Its not about "getting rights back" or "better to defend myself. Its all about bling and showing off. well have fun. I guarantee the novelty wears off soon. And the stores will get tired of seeing it and put up signs so you cant go in open carrying. Show a little restraint please.
How about an ankle holster with shorts on? Maybe 2 ankle holsters one on each leg.....j/kHas to be in a belt or shoulder holster. Or a scabbard. But no in the pocket or loose in the waist band.
So for the people who dont have a permit yet, would they have to take an extra class?I also like that fact that we who already have a permit would not have to take an extra class. I was so glad that question came up this morning .
They did not address that this morning . I would think it would be part of any future class. But I could be wrong. So for the people who dont have a permit yet, would they have to take an extra class?
I don't agree with the "no socks" part.
You might get blisters.
